2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have parental consent, to use the Service.
By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Account & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts in cases of misuse, suspected fraud, or breach of these Terms.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
Skinpal offers subscriptions via Apple App Store, Google Play, and Stripe on our website.
By signing up, you receive a 7-day free trial. After the trial ends, your subscription will automatically activate, and the first payment will be charged unless you cancel beforehand.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
The applicable subscription price is displayed at checkout, including applicable VAT.
5. Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA users)
Under EU consumer law, you may withdraw from a digital services contract within 14 days of purchase.
By signing up and starting to use Skinpal (including during the free trial), you expressly consent to the immediate provision of the Service and acknowledge that your statutory withdrawal right is waived once the Service begins.
If you do not want the Service to start immediately, you must refrain from using it during the trial period.
6. Refund Policy
All payments are final and non-refundable, except where mandatory consumer rights apply.
If you subscribed via Apple App Store or Google Play, refunds are handled directly by those platforms according to their policies. We cannot override these decisions.
If you subscribed via our website (Stripe), any applicable refunds will be handled directly by us, in accordance with these Terms and consumer law.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:

Share or publish offensive, discriminatory, or harmful content.
Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the Service.
Infringe upon intellectual property rights belonging to Skinpal or others.
8. User Content
You may log personal notes, health data, or journal entries (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your User Content. By using the Service, you grant Skinpal a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process and display your User Content solely to provide the Service.
9. Third-Party Services
Skinpal integrates with trusted third-party providers such as Supabase (database/hosting), OpenAI (AI services), and Stripe (payments).
By using the Service, you agree to the processing of your data by these providers in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Availability & Changes
We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Features may be modified, added, or removed without prior notice.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Skinpal disclaims all liability for any health outcomes, reliance on AI insights, or actions taken by users based on the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skinpal, its affiliates, and employees are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the last 12 months.
13. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time via App Store, Google Play, or Stripe customer portal.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law rules.
Disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Sweden, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
